— Accessibility

Built for every client. Every pro.

Our commitment

ProChair is designed to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA and ADA Title III standards. We audit quarterly with both automated tooling (axe-core, Lighthouse, Pa11y) and manual screen-reader testing (VoiceOver, NVDA, TalkBack).

What’s built in

  • Accessibility widget in every footer — font size, high contrast, dyslexic font, reduced motion, focus ring
  • Full keyboard navigation across all interactive elements
  • Proper ARIA labels, landmarks, and live regions
  • Minimum 4.5:1 color contrast on all text; 3:1 on large text and UI components
  • Respect for prefers-reduced-motion and prefers-color-scheme
  • Skip-to-content links on every page
  • Captions on all produced video content

Known gaps we’re working on

We don’t claim perfection. Publicly tracked issues:

  • Map embed (Mapbox) has imperfect keyboard navigation — list-view alternative is available at /discover
  • Third-party business photos may lack descriptive alt text (inherited from Google Places)

Report a barrier

If you hit something that doesn’t work, tell us. We review accessibility reports and prioritize issues that block booking or account access.
